Have a question about Dermaceutic Light Ceutic?
Dermaceutic Light Ceutic
Dull, uneven skin tone is caused by accumulated dead cells slowing the surface renewal cycle. Light Ceutic accelerates that cycle using pharmaceutical-grade Glycolic Acid (>99.9% pure) delivered through a lamellar phospholipid emulsifier that drives it significantly deeper than standard AHA creams — restoring luminosity, smoothing texture, and fading discolouration while you sleep. Evening use only. Contains Vitamin A — not for use during pregnancy.

Is Dermaceutic Light Ceutic right for you?
- Your skin looks dull, flat, or lacks its natural glow
- You have uneven skin tone, fine lines, or rough texture
- You want a leave-on AHA treatment that delivers genuine resurfacing overnight
- You are comfortable with active skincare and ready for a clinical-grade exfoliant
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding (contains Vitamin A)
How Dermaceutic Light Ceutic works — the science
The skin renews itself through desquamation — old surface cells shed and new cells emerge from below. As we age, this process slows. Dead cells accumulate on the surface, creating the dull, uneven complexion that characterises photo-aged skin.
Light Ceutic uses pharmaceutical-grade Glycolic Acid (>99.9% pure) to accelerate desquamation by dissolving the bonds holding old dead cells to the surface. What distinguishes it from standard AHA creams is the delivery system: a lamellar phospholipid emulsifier carries the Glycolic Acid significantly deeper into the stratum corneum than standard cream bases allow. Vitamin A works in synergy — Glycolic Acid clears the surface while Vitamin A stimulates cellular renewal from below.
What you will notice — and when
Week 1–2: Skin feels smoother to touch in the morning. Week 3–4: Visible improvement in luminosity and texture. Fine lines begin to soften. Week 6–8: Progressive correction of discolouration and uneven tone. Skin appears genuinely renewed.
How to use Dermaceutic Light Ceutic
- Apply in the evening only — Glycolic Acid increases photosensitivity; always apply SPF the following morning
- Cleanse skin thoroughly first
- Apply a thin, even layer to face and neck
- A mild tingling sensation is normal for 10–15 minutes after application
- Allow to absorb — do not rinse off
- Follow with Hyal Ceutic moisturiser if needed
- Introduce gradually — begin 2–3 times per week and increase as skin adjusts
Key ingredients & what they do

|---|---|
| Pharmaceutical-grade Glycolic Acid (>99.9% pure) | Accelerates cellular turnover by dissolving dead cell bonds — restores luminosity and smooths texture |

Dr. Bangalee's clinical perspective
| Dr. Bangalee Recommends | Light Ceutic is the leave-on resurfacing product I recommend for patients who want to maintain the luminosity improvement they experience after an in-clinic chemical peel. The phospholipid delivery system is what makes it genuinely clinical rather than cosmetic — the Glycolic Acid actually reaches the depth where it needs to work. |
What our patients say
| After my first in-clinic peel I wanted to maintain the results at home. Light Ceutic has kept my skin bright and clear in a way it never did before. | My skin texture has transformed over three months of consistent use. People ask if I have had a treatment. | I was nervous about a leave-on AHA overnight but introduced it slowly as advised. My skin adapted completely and the brightening effect is remarkable. |
Frequently asked questions
| How much tingling is normal? | Mild to moderate tingling for 10–15 minutes is expected. Significant burning or prolonged discomfort is not normal — rinse with cool water and reduce frequency. Consult Dr. Bangalee if irritation persists. |
| Can I use Light Ceutic and retinol? | Use on alternating evenings — Light Ceutic one night, retinol the next. This is a highly effective combination for comprehensive skin renewal. |
| Why is Light Ceutic not for use during pregnancy? | Light Ceutic contains Vitamin A. All Vitamin A derivatives are avoided during pregnancy as a precaution. |
