How NeoStrata 15% Vitamin C + PHA Serum works — the science

L-Ascorbic Acid (vitamin C) works through three distinct mechanisms simultaneously. As an antioxidant, it neutralises the free radicals generated by UV radiation and environmental pollution before they can trigger the oxidative cascade that degrades collagen and activates melanin production. As a brightening agent, it inhibits tyrosinase — the enzyme responsible for melanin synthesis — reducing the formation of new pigmentation.
