What is the Star Hydrating Drip?

The Star Hydrating Drip is an intravenous vitamin infusion formulated to provide a comprehensive blend of essential vitamins directly into the bloodstream. The infusion is designed to support hydration and overall nutritional wellness, while providing the body with key vitamins involved in energy metabolism, immune function, antioxidant protection and healthy skin, hair and nails.

It is administered as a 1 litre infusion and contains Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, C, D3 and E, together with Folic Acid and D-Biotin.

Dr. Bangalee will assess your individual needs and confirm that IV therapy is appropriate for you before treatment.

How it Works

1

Medical Assessment

Dr. Bangalee assesses your health, medications, medical history and wellness goals to confirm that IV therapy is suitable for you.
2

Cannula Insertion

A small intravenous cannula is gently inserted into a vein in your arm. You may feel a brief sting, similar to having blood drawn.
3

IV Infusion

The 1 litre vitamin infusion is administered intravenously over approximately 15–60 minutes while you relax comfortably.
4

Monitoring

You are monitored by Dr. Bangalee throughout the infusion to ensure your comfort and wellbeing.
5

Post-Infusion

The cannula is removed and you can return to your usual activities, provided you are feeling well.

Expected Results & Timeline

During the infusion: Most patients relax comfortably and can read or work.

Immediately after: You are free to drive and resume normal activities.

Individual response varies. How you feel after a drip depends on your general health, hydration status and nutritional needs.

_Vitamin drips support general wellness and are not a treatment for any medical condition. A consultation with Dr. Bangalee determines whether IV therapy is appropriate for you._

Downtime & Aftercare:

Most patients return to normal activities immediately after their drip. Mild tenderness or bruising at the cannula site can occur and usually settles within a few days.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is in the Star Hydrating Drip?

A 1 litre infusion containing Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, C, D3 and E, together with Folic Acid and D-Biotin, alongside fluid to support hydration.

Why is IV therapy different from taking vitamin supplements?

Oral supplements need to pass through the digestive system before their nutrients can enter the bloodstream, and absorption can vary depending on the nutrient, digestive health and individual factors. IV therapy delivers nutrients directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive tract and allowing for rapid and efficient delivery.

How long does it take?

Approximately 15–60 minutes depending on the infusion. You relax comfortably throughout and are free to drive afterwards.

How often can I have a hydration drip?

This depends on your individual health and needs. Dr. Bangalee will advise on an appropriate interval at your consultation.

Does it hurt?

You may feel a brief sting as the cannula is inserted, similar to having blood drawn. The infusion itself is not painful.

Who Is This For?

  • Anyone feeling run down, depleted or dehydrated.
  • Those recovering from travel, heat, illness or a demanding week.
  • Patients who struggle with oral supplements or absorption.
